A Midweek Treat

I booked Tim and I a surprise night out to help get over our post NZ trip blues.  We went to see La Soiree, an evening of absolute madness, followed by finishing our bottle of wine on the banks of the Thames and remembering why we choose to live in this fantastic city.

George's Marvellous Medicine

We took all the Year 3's to see Roald Dahl's George's Marvellous Medicine, one of my all time favourites.  I think I enjoyed it as much as the kids did!

A Welcome Change

Ine and her boyfriend stayed in our flat for a few days while we were away.  We came home to these gorgeous hand knitted beanies - so neat!

A Lesson Learnt

This is what happens when you don't water a Christmas tree for three weeks and leave it in a heated flat while you travel to the other side of the world.  We came home from our trip to NZ to a tree with barely any needles left - very messy, and now have a very blocked vacuum cleaner!

Last Chance

We made the most of our last day in sunny New Zealand with a walk round the Mount and a swim at the beach, followed by some pretty tough goodbyes.

Pampered

A girly afternoon at Pam's house the day before the wedding.  It poured with rain about an hour after this photo was taken, we were just grateful it fell that day and not the all important Saturday!

Home Grown

One of the great things about being home was being able to pop out to the garden and grab some goodies for dinner, you can't get much fresher than this!

What happened?

It seems prices in NZ have gone mad since we left, try $15 for two drinks on the Strand!

Good times

Having a go at kneeboarding, really great fun once you get the knack of it.  Just have to remember to let go of the rope once you come off!

Granest

We travelled over to the bach at Lake Rotoiti for a couple of days of fishing and fun on the lake.  I caught my third trout, only a small one but it tasted pretty good!
