Accompanying Mum to the Freud Museum, just around the corner from our flat, ended up being far more interesting than I had thought. The house was the home of famous psycho-analyst Sigmund Freud and his family when they escaped Austria in 1938. The only disappointment was not being able to try out the iconic reclining psychoanalytic couch in his study!
