Libere les Poulets

The girls hit Lille for the weekend to celebrate Estelle's upcoming nuptials. Her mum Christine was there to meet us at the train station, having taken the words 'hen party' quite literally she'd made us all signs with pictures of chickens on them. This insured much giggling and silliness as we made our way to our hostel, which had also been decorated by Christine in red, white and blue. We certainly attracted many strange looks from the locals, many must have though we were protesting against chicken farming or something, especially with Estelle and Esther chanting 'libere les poulets' as we went! A relatively calm evening of croque monsieur and catching up followed provided by the very hospitable Manu and Gonzalo.
